I purchased a domain name some time ago. I read answers about how to transfer if you have a plan, but how do I contact Yahoo! if I don’t have a small business plan? Yahoo!’s customer care phone # is no longer in use. Any help would be appreciated.
While transferring your domain name to another host you need to mention your EPP code while registering with another hosting company.
To generate EPP code do the following steps
1.Sign in to your Yahoo! Business Control Panel (you’ll be prompted to enter your Yahoo! ID and password if you haven’t already done so).
2. Click the "Domain Control Panel" link under your domain name.
3. On your Domain Control Panel, click "View Your Authorization Code."
4. On the following page, you’ll see your domain’s unique authorization code. I recommend printing this code for your records, as you’ll need to provide it to your new registration upon transfer.

Ok i sign up with wordpress and bought a domain name for my blog but i find out that i dont like wordpress and i want to know how i could transfer my domain name which i bought thru wordpress over to my blogger/blogspot account because thats were i want the domain name at i know they is a way can anyone show or tell me how in detail?
OK Wordpress are now the registrants of your domain, you will need to have them point the domain at your chosen hosting service if you are happy for them to remain as the registrants.
You may be able to log into your account and set the DNS setting yourself - it will be the ‘A’ record or ‘www’ setting that will need to point at your new location. This leaves your email (MX) settings intact - you will need to pay an annual fee for registration.
Alternatively, you can move the registration to another service (such as GoDaddy) that will allow you to change your settings to point the DNS settings at blogger.

I am making and updating my web site, which is easier to make a new one than just change it, but how do I get my old website down and use my domain on my new site. It is still on old site right now. Is there a way to do this? I need to keep the old domain as it is well know.
to delete your existing site you can use a FTP program I use filezilla (a free program) enter your ftp log in details into filezilla then log in to your site with filezilla and right click in the panel with your files in you will have a chose of options one is to delete this will remove your existing site,
then you just upload your new website using filezilla
you will not have to do anything with the domain as it’s still pointing to the same place
if you want to change it just right click and chose download you can then edit them and re-upload
"This domain was used with a Yahoo! Small Business service that was cancelled. Reactivate this domain, or enter a different domain name below."
Is there a way that I can transfer it to another registrar? It’s quite expensive here at Yahoo! and I just wanted to know if anyone else could offer me a better place to host the domain. Does anyone know the fees of resuming it?
If you have time left on your current domain’s registration, you should be able to renew it with any other registrar that offers domain transfers. If not, you’ll have to either renew with Yahoo or wait for Yahoo to drop your domain and then you can re-register it at another registrar. The second option could take months though.

I had registered a domain name at wordpress. Now i want to transfer my domain name to godaddy so i can put it on auction. Please help!!
J K is right on, you need to transfer based on the instuctions he provided. You will also need ot follow godaddy’s instructions as well and pay their domain transfer fees if any first…
Transfer to Another Registrar
Note: You may not transfer a domain name within 60 days of purchase or for 60 days after any contact information is changed. This is standard across all registrars. It is a rule set by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
A domain transfer is initiated at the new registrar. You will need to unlock the domain and request your Auth Code before you can complete the transfer.
I’m selling my Domain Name and I don’t know what to do to transfer it to the buyer.
Thanks John,
No, I don’t have any more domains for sale.
Yes !!
In order to transfer your domain name you need to contact your
domain name provider. They are the only ones that can
complete this transaction.
If you use GoDaddy.com they will do a lot of the work for you.
Call there 24 hour customer service number listed on the top
left hand side of their website.
Congrats on being an entrepreneur, do you have other domain
names to sell? Let me know !!
