How to transfer a domain name to a new location?
Ok i sign up with wordpress and bought a domain name for my blog but i find out that i dont like wordpress and i want to know how i could transfer my domain name which i bought thru wordpress over to my blogger/blogspot account because thats were i want the domain name at i know they is a way can anyone show or tell me how in detail?
OK Wordpress are now the registrants of your domain, you will need to have them point the domain at your chosen hosting service if you are happy for them to remain as the registrants.
You may be able to log into your account and set the DNS setting yourself - it will be the ‘A’ record or ‘www’ setting that will need to point at your new location. This leaves your email (MX) settings intact - you will need to pay an annual fee for registration.
Alternatively, you can move the registration to another service (such as GoDaddy) that will allow you to change your settings to point the DNS settings at blogger.
